Julika Neumann
Julika Neumann, born near Cologne, is a passionate observer of urban spaces, cultural trends, and aesthetic details. She loves big cities and their energy – and finds beauty in art, craftsmanship, jewelry, light, colors, words, and the quiet moments in between.
She studied Art and Cultural Studies with a business administration specialization, focusing on urbanity, trend research, as well as museum education and museum architecture. Early in her studies, an internship in New York profoundly changed her view of the world: The city became an open book for her – full of speed, subculture, diversity, and creative power. She took this energy with her to shape her own path.
After her studies, Julika spent several years at AOL, where she worked in cultural sponsorship, event, and online marketing. Despite the dynamics of the digital world, her connection to art remained – she invested her first salary in a work of art by an artist from her new home, Hamburg.
However, over time, she missed the aesthetic element in the internet industry. She wanted to return to art, to form, to sensuality.
After a conscious family period and the birth of her two children, her path led her into the world of photography: by co-founding an association for young photographic art and working at the Flo Peters Photography Gallery. At the same time, she realized her love for design together with her husband in her own home – a place that today tells stories of art and objects from all over the world.
During a period of reflection and reorientation, she finally met the right friend at the right time – and aveluene was born.
A project that is much more than just a business for her.

YASMIN VON SCHLIEFFEN-NANNEN
Yasmin von Schlieffen-Nannen was born in Hamburg and has always been shaped by jewelry, fashion, and aesthetics. Early on, she developed a keen sense for shapes, colors, and expression – nourished by visits to auctions with her parents and growing up in a world of music, art, and ballet. She is still fascinated by the jewelry her father brought back from his travels.
She gained her first experiences as a model before discovering her creative openness in London, which profoundly shaped her view on fashion and individuality. After studying fashion in Hamburg, her path led her through positions at Etro in Milan and a PR agency in Frankfurt, back to Hamburg, where she founded her own boutique PR agency, mrs politely, in 1999. With this agency, she continues to support international brands, personalities, and creative projects to this day.
Yasmin understands creativity not as an end in itself, but as a connection – between people, values, and stories. This attitude is also reflected in the fine jewelry platform aveluene, which brings together like-minded individuals: with aesthetics, character, attitude, and an uncompromising demand for quality.
As a mother of three, she is deeply rooted in life. Her family is her anchor – and at the same time, her greatest inspiration. In her sons, she recognizes the same sensibility and love for detail that drives her.
With her eye for the essential, her international experience, and her flair for timeless aesthetics, Yasmin brings a clear vision: jewelry as an expression of personality, attitude, and inner strength.
In Julika, she has found a friend and partner with whom she shares not only her passion for jewelry but also her world of values.
WHAT DOES "AVELUENE" MEAN?
A curated online platform can only be special if it is created with emotion and personality, just as the company name was created from the associations the two founders have with jewelry.
The name aveluene is as personal as the brand itself.
The thought of jewelry evokes in Julika the feeling of strolling through the Avenues of New York - freedom, expanse, energy.
Yasmin, on the other hand, associates the thought of jewelry with the radiance of the moon and the memory of her father, who lovingly called her "Moon."
From Avenue and Lune came aveluene.
